The new owner, Maria, is friendly & efficient. She dry-cleaned a winter jacket & a pair of trousers for me. I got back each thing in 3 days and I was satisfied with the quality of work so I will definitely keep coming back here. I've given Maria some (men's) clothes for alreration, and she completed the work quickly & efficiently.
Personal service, professional attention to your needs and always willing to provide recommendations as appropriate, e.g. laundry vs. dry cleaning, worth repairing a clothing item or not, etc... The owner (Maria) is also an excellent seamstress, a rare quality these days.
Really disappointed with this business. I've had stuff dry cleaned here many times and they've done a good job. Brought in a dress for alterations (chiffon, nothing complicated, liner didn't even need to be hemmed) and they said $45, come back in a week. I get a call 2 hours later saying it's going to be $60 or you can come pick it up. Seriously? What a waste of time. With so many cleaners in the area, I'll find a new place to take my business. I hope the $15 was worth it? Fine for dry cleaning, skip for alterations.
